Alexander was born in the Pella region of Macedonia on September 20,356 B.C. Alexander was tutored by a Greek philosopher named Aristotle in his childhood. Alexander conquered many lands giving him the title Alexander The Great. When his father Philip II was assassinated in 336 B.C.E. Alexander, the heir to the throne succeeded him becoming the king of Macedonia. He united Greek city sates and became the king of Persia, Babylon and Egypt (Pharaoh) overtime. Alexander died of malaria in Babylon on June 13, 323 B.C
