I learned that during the Neolithic Revolution people spent most of their time hunting and gathering. While men hunted women would take care of their children and do the gathering. Women were looked down upon by men during this time. During 10,000 B.C.E humans began to domesticate animals and cultivate crops. Social status was based on what you did for a living. ( Priest, craftsmen, etc..)
